Biography

Naima Mammate is a doctoral student in pharmacology and health sciences research at the Laboratory of Epidemiology and Health Sciences Research at the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy in Fez, Morocco.

Her research focuses primarily on chronic kidney disease, renal failure, urolithiasis (kidney stones), and the pharmacological effects of medicinal plants. She is particularly interested in their antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-urolithic properties. In addition, she also contributes to the creation of new animal models for the study of renal pathologies, which allows for a better understanding of pathophysiological mechanisms and a more accurate evaluation of potential treatments.

She has published several scientific papers, notably on the evaluation of plant extracts such as Saussurea costus in the prevention of kidney stones and the reduction of associated inflammation.
